about the artist

Kathy Barker is a practising artist and short course art tutor at West Dean College. Born in St.Ives Cornwall, she originally trained at Wimbledon School of Art and now specialises in drawing, painting, printmaking and -more recently-commissioned portraiture work. She is also author of Drawing and Painting the Clothed Figure, published in 2005. A number of her works have been privately and internationally collected from London to Hong Kong.
